The National Youth Choir of Northern Ireland, previously know as Ulster Youth Choir, was established in 1999 to provide the best of Northern Ireland’s young singers aged 11-24 with the opportunity to sing together to the highest possible standards receiving training from some of the best choral and vocal practitioners from throughout the UK and Ireland and is now regarded as one of Northern Ireland’s leading artistic and educational organisations. The NYCNI Artistic Director is Andrew Nunn.

11-14th April: Girl’s Choir
12-14th April: Boys Choir
Venue: Campbell College, Belfast (Non Residential)
NYCNI are delighted to be offer two Easter Courses for 2023. Our Girl’s Choir (for singers aged 14-15) and our NEW Boy’s Choir (for singers in P5/6/7)
*Any returning Girl’s aged 14/15 from Junior or Training Choir, can sign up for Girl’s Choir- you will not need to re-audition*
Boys Choir will begin recruitment in Primary Schools (Jan 2023) If you wish to audition outside of school, Please contact Ms Christina McQuillan- NYCNI Manager to register your interest
16-21 July 2023 — Junior Choir Summer Course
The NYCNI Junior Choir meet for a six day course in Campbell College Belfast which comprises of sectional and tutti rehearsals, musicianship classes and finishes with a performance.
15-21 July 2023 — Training Choir Summer Course
The NYCNI Training Choir is a 7 day residential course at Campbell College Belfast which include section and tutti rehearsals, individual singing lessons and musicianship classes. The course also concludes with an evening performance
22-28 July 2023 — Senior Choir Summer Course
The NYCNI Senior Choir is a 7 day residential course at Campbell College, comprising of section and tutti rehearsals, individual singing lessons and concludes with an evening concert.
