NYCNI Senior Choir Concert 2024 at Fisherwick Presbyterian Church

The National Youth Choir of Northern Ireland, previously know as Ulster Youth Choir, was established in 1999 to provide the best of Northern Ireland’s young singers aged 8-25 with the opportunity to sing together to the highest possible standards receiving training from some of the best choral and vocal practitioners from throughout the UK and Ireland and is now regarded as one of Northern Ireland’s leading artistic and educational organisations. The NYCNI Artistic Director is Andrew Nunn.

After a brief pause in 2025, the National Youth Choir of Northern Ireland (NYCNI) is thrilled to announce its relaunch under a new Board of Directors and with renewed purpose. With fresh energy, generous donor support, and plans for Easter and Summer 2026 residentials, NYCNI looks ahead to an exciting new chapter — continuing to inspire, educate, and empower young singers across Northern Ireland.

Registration for our 2026 courses is now open. Please see the Membership Registration tab to enrol. Dates and fees are detailed in our 2026 Events page.
